Hey guys, it's been a while hasn't it? Well, I'm posting to both let you know that I am still alive, and to open up new opportunities to those of you who are interested in computer art. That's right, soon I will be hosting an open invitation collaborative art-party in a digital format.
How, you ask? Through a program called warPaint. It's an openCanvas tweak that allows up to four people at a time to work together on a single image. The possibilities are tremendous! It's like science has conspired to make my life pretty awesome.

(In case you can't figure it out, download the installer.)
It's a little difficult to figure out how to find a server at first, so I'm going to walk you though the process.
-First, you may need to open ports: Portforward.com has an excellent guide. http://www.portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/routerindex.htm Find your router and follow the GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS to open port 9001.
-Now run openCanvas. (It should be under warpaint in your startmenu.)
-When in the program press Alt+N then N again. (Network->Show NetworkWindow for you lame clicky-people)
-Go under the client tab and Connect to my IP. (127.0.0.1 at the time of my writing this.)
-If I'm running the server, VIOLA! You're in!

I can't wait to have some fun with you guys. I hope at least one of you follows through. I'm going to be hosting the first OC night Tomorrow (Sunday) at 7:00 PM. Be there or be square.
In other news, I'm still banned from competitive gaming, and it doesn't look like that's going to change until I go off to college in a year or so. I really hope that I don't lose my edge. It's not quite so bad right now, considering that it is still the summer, but I imagine that I will really be hurting when it gets to be school time. Ah well, at least I'll have time to do other stuff now. :(
Oh, my birthday is this monday! I'm going to be turning 18 and boy am I ready to rush out, and buy some porn, lottery tickets and cigarettes. Woooooooooo. Maybe I'll even hire a stripper and buy Shane a dildo at the adult store. :D
I think that's about it for my update this week, I might update my blog again sometime in the near future, all things abiding.
